This Candlelight Fund has been created in loving memory of Mark Sexton by his parents Richard and Justina Sexton and younger brother Edward. Mark died 20 years ago at the age of 28 from a brain tumour, astrocytoma. After his degree in sociology Mark working in management training for the Breakthrough group in Holland Park, London until he was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 26. He had lots of friends who were very supportive all through his illness which lasted 2 years from diagnosis until the end. Almost 20 years later these same friends and family are still in touch and supporting us as we continue our life's journey. He loved life and took it all in his stride. We felt that a candlelight fund would help to celebrate his short life by supporting causes that are so needy and leave a legacy in his name.
